Tassie Smiles Dental opened in July 2013. It was started by myself, Dr. Michelle Forsyth & my husband, Cameron. It has been a long time dream of ours to own our own dental practice together. I built up a successful practice in Durban, South Africa before immigrating to Bundaberg, Queensland in 2009. It was a difficult decision to leave the practice, friends and family behind, however together with my husband and two children it was a “no-brainer” and we left in search of a better life in Australia.
After four years in Bundaberg, serving both in the public service and in private practice our family decided to relocate to the magnificent state of Tasmania.
Tassie Smiles Dental is based on offering a caring, relaxed dental care environment. Our belief is that the best dentistry is non-invasive dentistry and that preventative care is the foundation of my dental practice. At Tassie Smiles early treatment, executed well is a cornerstone of our care offerings.
We look forward to caring for you, your family and your oral health needs.
